It drives, throbs like a pulse, almost hectic, then gentle again: a fascinating Michael Nyman-style sound tapestry as the undertone of three biographies, into which one or two motifs are woven again and again &#8211; echoes just like in real life. Harald Bluechel alias Cosmic Baby, who discovered electronic sounds on his way to becoming a concert pianist, has composed the &#8220;Memory&#8221; score for the Zurich string quartet Amar. The four award-winning young musicians sit between screens and actors, a cello stroke comments on the memory of &#8220;Grossmammachen&#8221; and her terrier, the quartet&#8217;s rasping sounds illustrate the hail of bombs that turned the escape to the bunker that saved them into a nightmare (&#8230;)<br \/><br \/>Alexandra M.
