1973	Highly gifted scholarship from the City of Nuremberg at the Nuremberg Conservatory.
1976	Discovery of electronic music (CLUSTER, KRAFTWERK and TANGERINE DREAM, later RYUICHI SAKAMOTO and VANGELIS) and the desire to play synthesizers himself. Leaves the conservatory.
