Totally splendid … One of those records that makes you happy every time you see it in your box.
DJ, October 1992
It already counts as one of the top musical highlights anno 1992. Looks like Cosmic Baby is going to be around on the scene for a few years to come yet.
Jochen Ditschler, in: Groove, August 1992
There are three mixes of ‘Perfect Day’, including a congenial Piano-laced mix which dives into an ambience befitting the German scene.

NOTES
It is not easy to speak of “Visions of Shiva” without touching a few nerves. “How much can you take” was written during the same (one-week) recording session as “Cafe del Mar” and „Heaven`s Tears“ with Jens. Let me just say this: it would be great if Paul van Dyk, now with the distance of time between us and the fact that he himself is a recognized international superstar, had the honesty and strength of character to explain once and for all what he contributed to the content of this piece (apart from being present at the Mix of the “physical” version).

The strings will melt over your heart like one of my toasted cheese sandwiches.

The Visions Of Shiva are Cos and Paul van Dyck, who were responsible for ‘Perfect Day’, one of last year’s best tunes. The new one is likewise melodic, piano-drenched and anthemic. Divided into ‘Physical’ and ‘Emotional’ sides, it will soon be slaughtering a dancefloor near you.
