LIFE HIKE

My life is a constant journey through time and space.

I wander through mental cities, villages, forests, mountains, valleys, rivers, the seas, steppes, deserts and fields. I wander through mental seasons.

People, animals, plants, natural cycles, spirits and souls accompany me on my journey.

Sometimes I walk for myself, but I am never alone, because I am part of creation.

I get to know ideas and pass them on. A constant exchange. A constant communication that feeds my hunch that there is access to everything that has ever been felt, thought and done in our world.

I feel the euphoria of Goldmund’s exuberant natural sensuality and at the same time Narcissus’ delight in elegant abstraction through thought and spirit.

Art is reflected in everything that lives.

I love both the warmth and the coolness.

I enjoy closeness and distance, feeling and skepticism, action and observation, richness and asceticism, conscious, binding agreement and conscious, binding demarcation.

The unity, the balance, the connection, the strength lies in the depth.

Because only from the depths (solid roots, internalization) does the stability arise to be able to grow courageously into the sky;

identity arises, the inner agreement with oneself and things.

Sometimes the mindfulness that underlies everything, which becomes knowledgeable intuition with growing experience, requires caution. Sometimes the courage to take the unprotected, open risk.

Your life’s journey is constant learning. Learning leads to experience. From experience comes knowledge and understanding. Knowledge and understanding reveal to you the soulfulness of all things.

The discovery of the universal soul gives you an insight into gratitude and inner peace. From this inner peace you draw confident strength, the nourishment to be able to continue on your own path; your own path on which you can sometimes use already paved, much-used paths, but which you can also leave at any time to explorenew paths, your own paths, away from them .

Your chapel of contemplation can be Cologne Cathedral, but even more so any tree along the way that speaks to you.

You can listen to wonderful music wherever you want: under a starry sky, in a forest clearing, in a philharmonic hall, in a good club, by a stream, on the street or by the sea.

If you have learned since childhood that you can speak to people at a distance by telephone, you are now learning that you can make direct contact with the soul of the other person.

Your trained, incorruptible inner compass will guide you.

You can rely on him. Detours and mistakes are not an issue; they are a matter of course, as are adversities, blocked paths, accidents, suffering, emptiness, powerlessness, illness, death, failure, mistakes, errors and helpless despair. The question is how you deal with it. What you make of it. Whether you see it as your own responsibility or whether you blame it on others or something else.

And you get to know your personal limits, your limitations: that there are things that are beyond your power, beyond your possibilities and therefore also beyond your responsibility. So concentrate on the things that you can really influence and change. Test your limits: don’t make it too easy or too difficult for yourself. Grow with the tasks.

The most difficult tasks are at the gateway to your next dimension of life, like the driving test before you get your driver’s license.

The key to everything is always meaning. Where there is meaning, there is will, esprit, discipline, perseverance, patience, hope, devotion, attitude, heart, enthusiasm, light and support.

The support is wonderful. It is unconditional in its purest form. For this reason, it is often given to you when you cannot and do not want it at all.

It comes from the law of resonance: light goes to light. Darkness to darkness. Plus to plus. Minus to minus. But only if you are aware that everything – including you – is made up of equal parts light and shadow. Without shadow work, the light remains an insubstantial projection, wellness sooterics from the supermarket.

Start to develop your own point of view on all important things.

Let yourself be inspired by other people, points of view and teachings, but do not surrender to them. A true teacher will never make you the tool of his own ambitions, but will help you to raise your own potential. He does not calculate advantage and disadvantage. And you, too, will put the potential you have raised at the service of the greater cause, as well as the smallest neighbor.

You will carry the torch that you have received and pass it on to those who are open and ready for it. Even once it has gone out,

the torch can be lit again and made to glow.

Light goes to light. Light is only conceivable as the opposite pole to darkness.
