Patience is happiness
I
It’s been hot and midsummer for weeks. But I moan less and live more. Why? Because I have managed to adapt my body, my soul, my intentions and expectations to the season. I no longer oppose what nature is, but live in harmony with it in an improved way.
II
A parable of the “modern man” who wants to impose an idea de facto against natural conditions, regardless of them. I often lived like that – especially in the summer – and hated him for it, because it was simply impossible to negate his conditions, i.e. to pretend he didn’t exist (because I didn’t want him!). … the biographical background to this is now also known to me…).
I am now reducing my activities both in terms of quantity and speed.
In slowing down, however, the fantastic experience of INTENSITY and INTERPRETATION is made.
The result is concentration and, from this discovery of concentration, satisfaction! Again, playing the piano is an example of life: by slowing down to half the tempo, feeling, awareness, learning, concentration and insight emerge. Like traveling through a landscape on a bicycle instead of at ICE speed!!!
In this sense, “slowing down” also means breaking down a long route into stages (that are neither too challenging nor too demanding).
The time factor fades into the background. It doesn’t matter
Patience is happiness!!!!!
