Thoughts on a Friday evening

None of us know how the next few months will develop. We can’t even say what the world will be like then. This is a completely new life experience for most of us.

Four weeks ago, for example, I was looking forward to being able to publicly present the artistic essence of a whole personal decade of life. Like a top athlete who is preparing for the Olympics as scheduled, I completed my fasting phase two weeks ago and then went to the vernissage and concerts like new born & fit.

I quickly realized that I had to give up my plan.

I am in a tremendously privileged position to be able to live very independently … mentally, structurally, economically and also geographically, so it was very easy for me to say based on my stoicistic attitude to life:

What is, that is – so now I’m going full steam ahead to tackle some of the things that would have only been “after” after NOM: I will work a lot in the garden, paint some rooms in the house in new colors. Instead of the obligatory two hours, I will probably be able to read four hours every day, and at the same time I will finally go back to bulky but extremely important literature for which I would otherwise have had no nerve.

I will also understand the complete calm as an invitation to work on the compositions and other artistic projects that have long been waiting for an intensive and undisturbed immersion in order to bring some of them from the idea stage into a substantial form.

And I am sure that I will also address a few things that I would have always liked to feed – from new cooking recipes, cultivation methods to new patterns that I can experimentally incorporate into my life repertoire.

As far as planning around NOM is concerned, I can say – state of things -:

The vernissage at Heynstudios should continue to be the first NOM event.

When – we’ll see!

Two of my concerts already have a new date (so Corona wants):

September 25: JENA / TRAFO

December 19: BERLIN / SILENT GREEN (SPECIAL GUEST: ARNOLD KASAR)

More about the release of CD album and art book in my next statement – at the same place in a week at the latest !!!!

Take good care of yourself,  your next ones and the world.

Best wishes
