On the one hand, the majority of the population is (justifiably) afraid of a social status quo that is being glossed over in the same old mantras by those sitting comfortably in the saddle.
The political parties, as well as the media, no longer seem to reflect the images of different social concepts and points of view, but instead represent and sell only a monolithic unified concept of the unchecked “business as usual”, whose contradictions, inconsistencies and gaps are, however, very well perceived by many.
A growing representation gap is opening up in the democratic system: A special caste dominates and at the same time curtails social discourse. What are the consequences of this?
The AFD capitalizes on a clientele socialized by Bild,Bohlen and RTL 2 and their feelings of powerlessness, anger and hatred that are increasingly coming to the surface.
